Macadamia Chocolate Cookies 夏威夷坚果巧克力饼干


大大粒夏威夷坚果巧克力饼干

Recipe:
Unsalted Butter - 150g
Castor Sugar - 100g
Brown Sugar - 30g
Egg - 1 no
Plain Flour - 220g
Corn Flour - 50g
Cocoa Powder - 30g
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
Macadamia Nuts (toasted and chopped) - 100g
Chocolate Chips - 50g

Method:
1. Cream butter, castor sugar and brown sugar together until light and pale.
2. Gradually mix in egg.
3. Gradually fold in sifted flour, corn flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.  Mix in nuts and chocolate chips. Use cut and press method (to my students, you know what is this...:)). to make the dough.
4. Scoop some dough on paper lined baking tray with ice cream scoop.
5.  Bake at preheated oven at 170C for 10 minutes, reduce temperature to 150C, continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes, off the oven, keep the cookies in the oven for another 10 minutes.  (temperature for reference only).
