Pulut Inti


Glutinous Rice 糯米 – 300g
Santan 椰浆 – 90g
Pandan Leaves 班兰叶 – 2 pcs (knotted 打结)
Salt – ¼ tsp

Blue pea flowers 蓝花 – 5-6
Water 一点

Topping:
Grated Coconut 椰丝 – 200g
Palm Sugar 椰糖 - 85g
Water – 4 Tbsp
Pandan Leaf 班兰叶 – 1 pc (knotted 打结)
Salt 适量

Banana Leaves 香蕉叶  适量

Method:
1.Washed glutinous rice and soaked overnight. 糯米洗净,浸泡4-
     5小时.
2. Boil some water together with dried blue pea flowers. Strain to 
   get natural blue coloring.
 蓝花加一点水煮滚,取蓝色水备用。
3. Mix soaked glutinous rice, santan and salt. Santan should just cover the rice. Place knotted pandan leaves on top. Steam over high heat for about 30 minutes
将糯米,椰浆和盐放入蒸盘里 (椰浆硬刚刚好盖过糯米), 上面放班兰叶。以大火蒸约30分钟左右。
4. Add blue coloring to ¼ portion of the cooked rice. Mix well. And steam for 5 minutes.
1/4的熟糯米取出,加入蓝花水拌匀。蒸5分钟。
5. Slightly mix (4) with the remaining cooked rice. (4)倒回已煮好了的糯米稍微搅拌。
6.To make topping: dissolve sugar in water over low heat. Add in grated coconut, pandan leaves and salt.  Keep stirring until fragrance.
上层做法:用小火把糖溶解在水里。加入椰丝,班兰叶和盐。翻炒至香。
7. Put 2 Tbsp of cooked glutinous rice on a piece of banana leaf. Add some topping on top.  Wrap well.
将两汤匙的糯米饭舀在香蕉叶上。再放上适量的椰丝包起即可。
