Cinnamon-Sugar Twist

Ingredients:

Readymade Puff Pastry
Castor Sugar
Cinnamon Powder
Egg White or Unsalted Butter

Method:

1. Roll the puff pastry to a sheet, about 2mm in thickness.
2. Cinnamon Sugar: Mix cinnamon powder and castor until the color turn dark brown.
3. Brush egg white onto puff pastry. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Cut the pastry into stripe (L6”xW1cm). Twist the stripes and arrange on baking tray.
4. Bake at 200ºC for 8-10 minutes. Serve warm.

Other recipes:

Spicy Cheese Twist: Brush the puff pastry with butter, sprinkle with some black pepper, parmesan cheese powder and grated cheddar cheese.
Butter Twist: Brush the puff pastry with salted butter.
Sesame Cheese Twist: Brush the puff pastry with butter, sprinkle with some white/black sesame, parmesan cheese powder and grated cheddar cheese.
Parmesan Cheese Twist: Mix grated Parmesan Cheese, chopped fresh parsley and dried oregano leaves, crushed.
