Ruby Roots



Beetroot has the highest sugar content of any vegetable, and not surprisingly, makes one of the most delicious, sweet juice, with a vibrant red color and a rich yet refreshing taste. Beetroot can be juiced raw and its intense flavor combines wonderfully with tangy citrus fruits and fresh root ginger. Enjoy the juice as a natural cleanser.

Recipe: (make 1 glass)
Quarter of a medium size beetroot
1cm fresh root ginger, peeled
1 large orange
ice cubes (optional)

1. Trim the beetroot and cut into quarter
2. Peeled the orange and cut into quarters
3. Push beetroot, orange and ginger through a juicer
4. Pour the juice over ice cubes in a glass. Serve immediately
